Very Exciting Announcement

Cream and Orange Books Podcast Cover

Hey, friends! I have a very exciting announcement to make to you all.

My daughter Sara and I have started a podcast called Reeding Between the Lines!

You can click the link highlighted above, and there are also buttons on the right-hand sidebar that link to our podcast and to our Instagram accounts. We hope you will listen and subscribe (it's free)!

We recorded our first episode last week, and Sara did all the editing and got it uploaded to Apple Podcasts for your listening pleasure. We plan to get better-quality microphones for our next episode, so the sound quality should be better. We hope to upload a new episode every two weeks.

In the first episode, we introduce ourselves, describe our reading tastes, and review three current books we are reading, one backlist book, and one upcoming book we are looking forward to. Our reading tastes are pretty diverse, so you will get a wide selection of recommendations in each podcast.

This entire endeavor was Sara's brainchild, and she did a lot of work to plan and execute all the technical details.

I do hope you will give it a listen and let us know what you think. Also, if you have any suggestions for content, we'd love to hear about it!

  1. Hi, Nicole — Listened to the first episode and enjoyed it a lot. Tried to leave a comment, but when I opened a second window to check on something I couldn’t get back to my first window, so I wanted to share a couple of golden oldie reads you might like to consider, since I also love backlist re-reads: Crossing to Safety, by Wallace Stegner, is wonderful. Also Lonesome Dove, by Larry McMurtry. I’ve re-read each of these a couple of times over the years, and they are still wonderful!
