Did you watch the Super Bowl yesterday? My gosh, I don't even consider myself a football fan, but that was one exciting game. Too bad someone had to lose, the two teams were both amazing. Half the fun is the snacks we eat during the game, don't you agree? I made stuffed mushrooms-Ina Garten's recipe. They were the best ever. I forgot to take a picture, but click the link for the recipe. It is in her How Easy Is That? cookbook. I also made Pigs in a Blanket– no photo of those either. That recipe is the old Pillsbury Crescent Rolls classic. I've made it so often I don't need the recipe!
I hope you had a great weekend: football or no football. Check back here tomorrow. I have an extra-long book review post of all the books I read in January. All 12 of them! I also finished by Star Studded Event quilt and can't wait to show it to you. It is, as I thought it might be, as big as a circus tent.
