I sure don't have a lot to share today, but felt I should hop on with some sort of post. I'll just get chatty about nothing I guess! I have a couple of new things around the house, so I will start with those.
My Keurig coffee maker finally bit the dust, so we replaced it. I love the new one-it's so high-tech. You can program your favorite brew down to the strength and number of ounces. It even recognizes your brand and flavor of coffee pod! "Cinnabon Classic Cinnamon Roll? We got you, girl".
And we got two new faucets for the kitchen. The one over the main sink has a different handle configuration than our old one, and I unfailingly grab it wrong and let the cold water run for two minutes, thinking it will warm up.
The second faucet on our island has never worked right in the eight years we have lived in this house. When you would turn on the faucet, the spray nozzle to the left would come on and spray you in the face. That was always a fun surprise for unsuspecting guests.
In other news, I have Spring Fever. My condition is not based on the weather, that's for sure. Our temperatures have been pretty cool still, but the leaves on the trees are coming out all tender and green. And daffodils are up. Why oh why, do I not plant daffodils in the fall? Every darn spring all my neighbors have them and I am always daffodil deficient.
I have been thinking about spring clothes, however. I need new things like I need a hole in my head, but nevertheless, I seem to crave a few new pieces with the change of season.
Have you heard of Rothy's shoes? They are made from recycled plastic bottles and are good for the environment. They are also super cute and comfy. There is nothing like a pointy toe shoe to elevate an outfit.
Green is definitely the color of the day, and these two cute new tops will be great when the weather warms up. I am not quite ready for white jeans yet, but when the day comes, I'll be prepared. Clearly, Ozzie could care less. Unbeknownst to him, he is getting his spring haircut on Wednesday, so he'll be ready for warmer weather too.

I’m ready for Spring, but it’s not quite ready for us! We had temperatures below zero two nights last week, so we’ve got a ways to go. Cute shoes & tops! And, of course, Ozzie is his always-adorable self even if he’s extra fuzzy & snuggled in his bed! Have a good week!

New faucets are on the list here, but they will happen with the remodel that’s a few months away. I confess, ours have no fun surprises for guests like yours. I feel like a deficient hostess. LOL
But you’re certainly going to look like spring. Why not put a daffodil reminder on your calendar for later this year when it would be time to plant them? Happy Monday!

we are in puppyville here. we brought home our new Malamute puppy 2 weeks ago. he is adorable. we’ve never had a puppy. we’ve always adopted Malamutes from a rescue group.
thankfully, the weather is nice so we can spend the day out in the backyard with him able to run around and explore.

you can switch the hot and cold under the sink so that the faucet will give you the temperature you are expecting.
(ie, if hot is currently foreword, switch lines and it will become cold foreword.)

I have the second faucet you show but with a side sprayer and a different finish. I love it but the side spray has gone out 3 times. Moen stands behind their products and has sent new sprayers that DH installed. The first time that thing sprayed me I was not happy a bit! Foks that enjoy cooking need a good kitchen to work in. Yours looks very pretty.

I have a faucet with only one handle and I hate it. I need a definite hot or cold. The first green top is exactly one I would pick. I love things that you slip on and never to adjust,tug it tuck and forget about it when you are wearing it….. expecting a rare fifty degree day today. The walkers will all be out today!
