So you've got a pile of blocks you made in the latest sew-along, and you have no clue what to do with them, right? How in the world are you going to lay them out in an appealing way that brings them all together most effectively? It's a challenge for sure. It is also handy to have a plan in advance so that you can plan on having enough fabric for whatever your layout calls for.
Luckily for us mortals, the folks at Moda have come up with several very interesting layouts for the current Moda BlockHeads 3 Sew Along. The blocks for this sew-along come in four different sizes (4,6,8 and 12 inch). You can make your blocks all one size, or you can make them in all sizes, and the designers have some creative ideas on how to set them in your quilt top.

and if that isn't enough, here is a Layout 5, designed by Vanessa of Lella Boutique:

Thanks so much to Lorraine, for raising the question in a comment to yesterday's post.

I like several of those layouts. Can’t wait to see what you decide to do.

Which setting are you using Nicole? If you havenât decided, how are you selecting what size to make the different blocks? I am thinking of jumping into the Blockhead âpoolâ hence all the questions!
