New Favorite Candle

I have always loved candles, especially scented ones.  For a long time I have enjoyed Yankee candles, but a year or so ago I started buying candles from Bath and Body Works.  The fall scents in particular are my favorites–apple, cinnamon, clove, pumpkin, fall leaves etc.  I moved on to Christmas last year and enjoyed peppermint, evergreen, pomegranate, cedar.  For spring and summer I have been searching for something I loved, and discovered French Baguette and Paris Cafe (coffee scented).

My most recent find is one called Bonfire S'Mores.  Oh my goodness.  It actually smells like graham crackers, a bit of chocolate and slighted burned marshmallows.  Really.  It is so wonderful.  I close my eyes and it feels as if I am sitting under the stars camping out.  It is on sale right now for $12.25, about the most I am willing to pay for a candle I am going to burn up in a few weeks.

If you enjoy scented candles, do give it a try while it is discounted.  And if you get a chance to buy French Baguette or Paris Cafe, I don't think you will be disappointed!  A lot of the new fall scented candles are on sale right now for $14.95, so do take advantage of the sale.  You don't ever want to pay full price for these candles.

  4. Thank you for the heads up on the sale. I just bought a bunch of their foam soaps from their twice-a-year sale. I just saw that they have new scents out and was thinking about checking them out but now you gave me a few more to try. I am on it Nicole! 😊

  10. The S’Mores candle container is a cute little thing! And, it coordinates well with your table topper! Mmmmm…I can almost smell it from here!

  13. Love the Bath & Body candles. The fragrance lasts the entire burning of the candle, unlike the Yankee candles.
    One of my favs for fall is the Cinnamon Pumpkin Swirl.

  19. I love candles and recently discovered the Bath and Body Works candles. They are awesome! I think you can even recycle the nice containers they come in for filling up with goodies. Will have to try your s’mores one!

  22. Bath & Body Works and White Barn candles are the bomb! Love them and once a year they have a fantastic sale on them, watch for it coming up soon. I also recycle some of the jars. After washing them I drilled a hole in the center of the top. From Hobby Lobby I bought a small glass door knob and put it in place. Filled the jar with cotton balls, q-tips, etc. for the bathroom or wherever! You gotta smell Sweater Weather!
