Blogging Break

I wanted to check in and say "Hi" to you all, but to also let you know that for the next month or so, I will only be blogging sporadically. Between summer activities with Eva, looking after my husband (who has just gone back to work after his surgery!), my part time job, out of town visitors, preparing for Eva's sixth birthday party, and trying to get ready for a trip to Ireland and England—-I just have not had the time to create interesting content for you.

I will definitely be checking in occasionally, but I just don't think I can manage to post regularly until the end of August.  We will be back from our trip, Eva will be back to school, and with any luck I can get back into my sewing room.  The block you see above is last week's Moda BlockHeads block, #20, designed by Betsy Chutchian.  I will undoubtedly get a bit behind in my two sew alongs (BlockHeads and Triangle Gatherings), but am confident I can get caught up once things get back to normal.

Hope you are all having a great summer, and if you are as busy as I have been—take a break!
