Killer Shoes

With this wedding coming up on Saturday, I have brought out the Killer Shoes.  The ones I haven't worn since we moved out here to the country over five years ago.  Believe it or not, they are soft as butter and quite comfortable for high heels.  Those are my fancy earrings and cocktail ring next to them.  A touch of glam lipstick and I will be good to go.  No new dress for me.  I shopped at home and came up with an outfit that is flattering and pretty dressy even though it is pants.

Ozzie is pouting because I put the shoes out of his reach.  He has a history with my special shoes.

Here is what isn't happening.  This is the last side of pieced border to go on the Halloween Bounce quilt.  After that, a round of plain light fabric border and this bad boy will be a finish.

  10. You made the choice I would have made.. going with the dress pants, fancy blouse and shoes. Over the years, it seems that every time I have bought an outfit for a special event, I wore it for that event and then never again. I always figured I didn’t really like it all that much to begin with but felt I needed something new or different. After awhile, I ended up with many “special” outfits in my closet that I didn’t wear again! Enjoy the wedding and your weekend!!
