Just look at this teeny tiny, just bigger than a coffee cup cozy, quilt. It measures 10.5 by 11.5 inches and went together in no time flat. Those half square triangle squares measure one inch! It is called Hen Pecked and is one of the Kim Diehl Simple What Nots offerings. Seriously, I joined that monthly quilt club and have kept up with about half of them. It is expensive, nearly $50 per month, but I have to say, you get enough fabric to make two, if not three of the projects per month.
This project could be made in a day, easily. I made it over two days, including time to machine quilt it. Honestly, this would be a lovely gift for someone. I am keeping it though. Time for some Fall decor around here.
I need to take advantage of that surplus fabric and start making doubles. Come Christmas, I will be very happy I thought to do that.
Things continue to improve in my area as to the fire. We have even had some blue sky, which I had nearly forgotten about with all the smoke!

I really like Kim’s fabric and patterns. That is just too cute. I redid most of the quilts to fall around here yesterday. Even though it is. Supposed to be hotter than you know what around here again this weekend. What a charming wee quilt! I can see some small but cherished doll or stuffed toy cuddled under it (or a similar quilt) thru the winter months ahead!

What a cutie that little quilt is!! Kim comes up with the nicest patterns. Would love to do the Whatnot Club but I know I’ll never finish them all so I just ooh and aaah over the pics. I love the fall diamonds table runner as well as this little guy! We had guild yesterday and I started cutting my Kim Diehl fabric for Jellystone. I ended up with four different lines of Kim’s in total and I am making Jellystone one row longer and wider to make it bed sized.
