Kate Spain’s All Wrapped Up

IMG_1593

Just last week I received my Kate Spain "All Wrapped Up" quilt back from my quilter, Mary Flynn of Quilt Hollow.  This is just the cutest quilt, probably ever. This quilt is destined to go on Eva's first Big Girl Bed, slated to be set up this weekend or maybe next.

I have the binding attached, but not sewn down.  This will be my free time hand project this week.

I have to share a close up of the quilting:

Every morning Eva starts her day with a cup of cocoa, so this design was meant to be!  Don't you love it?

  1. What a perfectly charming little Christmas quilt and the quilting with Cocoa makes it totally Miss E’s! I love the thought of starting the day with cocoa and may follow Eva’s delightful example!
    Applause for another finish!!
Is Eva excited about her Big Girl bed?
    What’s next?
    Hugs!

  4. I will be binding the very same quilt Nicole. I received the quilt kit for Christmas from my husband and this year it is stitched and quilted. I substituted the border in the kit with a wide border of the poinsettia fabric and I love it. Eva will love her Christmas quilt. Been following your blog forever.

  7. That turned out great. I had a stack of those blocks finished a couple of years ago but finally put them together this summer. It is quilted and ready to give. That cocoa cup on yours is perfect quilting.
    Finished is so cool!
