It's been a busy week, with my stash sale, mailing all the goodies out, and having to work two days. Consequently, I don't have anything quilty to blog about, because I have spent no time in the sewing room.
I went way back in my archives, to July 2007 and found this post on decorating. It's my old house, but the mid-summer decorating ideas are still good ones, and lucky me, I still have all the components to re-create the vignettes. Check out the post, I enjoyed revisiting it, and hope you will too!
I am going to dig around in my garage cupboards, where I store all my decorating accessories and see if I can replicate some of these pretty ideas.
Hope you are all having a good week!

Loved the blast from the past and your pretty mid-summer colors. The Tuscan pottery is so pretty! Hope you were able to easily find the boxes with these items when you went looking.
I love seasonal decorating, too, and have changed the little quilt in my small entry hall to Summer Rose, and the larger wall quilt to a grey/green/gold/cream one that has a checkerboard center. Later in August I’ll change to a Hidden Wells wall quilt in deep greens, deep blues, and sunflower fabrics.
Have fun feathering your lovely nest!
Hugs!

Oh Nicole. I thought I had been reading your blog for years until you linked to the post from 2007. What? she was blogging in 2007 and I have only been reading her blog since she worked at a fancy shop in Carmel and her two dogs used to fight. I had missed so much. So, I went back to the beginning and am treating myself to yours posts from 2007 and will work my way forward. Thank you all over again for sharing your beautiful creations and your life.
