Here are my Blogger Girls BOM blocks for Month Number Four. I loved how different the two blocks turned out. Here are my other six blocks.
This is a free Block of the Month program offered by Monique Dillard of Open Gate Quilts. There is still time to join and get your blocks made, twelve of them in all. There are other blocks to check out besides mine, so after you view Monique's blocks and instructions, go visit these other sites to see additional versions of this great project.

What a weekend! We had the biggest thunderstorm I have seen since I was a little girl growing up in Michigan. Around midnight on Saturday we were awakened by rumbles of thunder so loud the house shook, pretty continuous flashes of lightening, and poor Ozzie barking and whimpering in turn. It was spectacular and very unusual weather for California. For some reason, we just don't see those dramatic thunderstorms you get in other parts of the country. March surely did go out like a lion!

I can’t wait to see all these blocks made up into a quilt. They are so pretty. Your fabric choice is great.

I love the colors and fabrics in the various blocks and how very different identical blocks look thanks to you choice of where the fabrics were used! Applause!!
It will be a treat to see how you and the other participants put your blocks together. Will they be similar to Monique’s or not?!
The block patterns are printed and waiting until I have time to make them.
We’re off to see the asthma doctor today because AMIL is having respiratory trouble. Dearie me. Hope Grandpa is doing well.
Hugs!

I’m really into your fabric choice for this blog-along. I haven’t bought any yet, but you are getting it closer to my shopping list each month with these blocks!

Love your blocks this month and really love your choice of fabrics! I grew up in Michigan also and remember amazing thunderstorms too. Also tornados–watched one with my dad, standing in front of the sliding glass doors while mom was telling us to get in the basement 😉

Your blocks are so beautiful. I love the colors and how they pop. Wonderful, wonderful. Do you own these rulers? I would like to make some of these blocks but I can’t afford all of them.
