This little table runner is what I made with my green and white flying geese. I don't know what came over me–I am so easily distracted when I am down in my sewing studio. The fabrics were just so fresh and springy, and who doesn't love working on a seasonal project, right at the time it is in season? The fabrics were leftover scraps from two Bonnie and Camille collections, Ruby and Bliss. The border/lattice fabric was not from those collections, just some random fabric I had on hand. No idea who the manufacturer or designer might be. Pretty amazing that it matched. I always think greens are about as hard as blues to get a good match.
All I need is to get it quilted and find a shamrock plant to put on it and it will be just the thing to decorate my sideboard for St. Patrick's Day this weekend. Erin Go Bragh.
Here it is waiting to be quilted along with another fresh and springy green project I have in the wings.
How are you all doing with this whole Daylight Savings Time thing? I loved that it stayed nice and light so my family could play outside longer with Eva. She has a new little slide and all we want to do is sit outside and watch her play on it. I also am always on board with going to bed an hour earlier, but this getting up at 6:00 AM when it is really 5:00 AM is for the birds. About 2:00 yesterday afternoon, I just wanted to lay down on the couch and close my eyes.

Love those spring greens! Green is one of my favorite colors so anything in green I love. Can’t say I’m loving the change in daylight savings. I’ve been dragging all week long, you wouldn’t think an hour would make a difference. Still winter here in Upstate New York but the black-winged blackbirds are back so that is a sign spring is on its way…yahoo! Looking forward to seeing your runner when it is on your sideboard.

OMG, my family is not adjusting quickly to the change. I was so tired all day yesterday. Today is a bit better but I’m still yawning, a lot….

It definitely takes some adjustment. I’m hungry at the wrong time, and I’m sleepy at the wrong time. However, today is dull, dark and dreary, so I really don’t know what time it is. Typical southern Vancouver Island weather for March. Your springy green quilts look fabulous, and that is the perfect shade of green for spring.

Fast and fun! Enjoy! At first, I thought that mystery green may have been from the Authentic collection by Sweetwater, but I’m wrong. It’s bugging me though, because I know I have seen it before… I really like it!

I love Daylight Savings time. Yes it is so nice to have more light in the evening. Guess I don’t get up quite as early as you 🙂

Those greens are so springy. Love them. Nice table runner, and I’m interested to see what else you’re cooking up in green. You get so much done (even side-tracked)!
We will adjust to the new hour soon enough. In the meantime, getting up in the morning is brutal.
Thanks for your continual stream of ideas and inspiration!

I’m glad I’m not the only one sleepy in the afternoon! I remember the days of just watching the kids slide, swing or just sleep 🙂

What cheerful greens you’re using for these two projects! Love the Flying Geese and the peek at the other one, too.
Exhausted from moving DS2 today and tomorrow will be unloading day. Wanna come help?
Hugs!
