Just a quiick post this morning. It is supposed to be my day off for sewing, but I am having to take Grandpa to the doctor an hour and a half away. Nothing wrong, just a little tune up. With any luck I can hunker down over my Bernina late this afternoon.
Here is some eye candy for your enjoyment. This collection is called Metropolitan Fair by Barbara Brackman for Moda. Just look at those corally reds with the greens and blues. And the browns and the tans. I have an idea for this that is making my heart go pitter pat. I will share more later!

Oh, what yummy eye candy this collection is!!! Makes me sorry my stash is so very, very full that I have resolved not to buy fabric until I used lots of my stash up. You’re a tease not to tell us what you have in mind for these delicious fabrics.
Have a safe trip there and back again and I hope Grandpa gets a good report.
Hugs!

I am a die hard Fig Tree fan, but I have recently been enjoying reproduction style fabrics as well. This collection looks much better spread out on your cutting mat than it did to me in the thumbnail pictures on the online shop websites. I may have to investigate further! I look forward to your plans Nicole!

Gorgeous fabric, Nicole! You must have scored an early release of this – lucky you!
Cheers!

Eye candy indeed. I hope the appointment went well. Aging parents can throw a wrench in our schedule. Worth doing, and happy to do it, but a wrench nevertheless. I know.
