My Shopping Cart Over Floweth (In My Dreams)

Don't know about you, but I have been drooling over the new fabrics that were presented at Market.  I cannot wait to get my hands on some of these beautiful collections.  Here are a few that I hope will make it into my shopping basket!

This one below is Fa La La La La by French General.  I know I swore I was done making Christmas quilts for the next ten years, but there are two collections that I think are calling my name.  This is one of them.  So elegant, and sophisticated.  A lap quilt tossed over the back of a chair by the Christmas tree would be so lovely.  Need a new tree skirt?  Here is your fabric.

And speaking of Christmas quilts, how in the world am I going to resist this one?

This pattern is made with the new Kate Spain group, "Flurry".  Oh dear me, I have got to make this quilt.  Sara would love it!  All the red and aqua her heart might desire, and those little pressies are the cutest things ever.

Here is another Kate Spain offering, "Terrain".  Love the colors.   Just find a pattern that will show off those prints, and you are in business.

This is a must for all us French General lovers.  "Panier de Fleurs".  Oh yes. Can you even believe this large scale print?  My mind is reeling with possibilites for applique and pieced quilt blocks!

This one below is called "Farm Yard" by Sentimental Studios.  I love the fresh color palette and think it could be the sweetest table topper ever for late summer and early fall.  Love those primary colors and sweet crisp prints.  Can't wait to get my hands on this.  It should be available very soon.

Sandy Gervais never disappoints us with her Fall collection.  I love the autumnal, but lingering summer feel of this color range.  Isn't that teal just too much?  Another fun group for late summer/early fall.  Lap quilts, wall hangings, table toppers—anything would be divine.  This is out now, so you can get started!

The quilt below is made by a designer called Cosmo Cricket.  The collection is called Circa 1934.

 PS-Circa1934-300

I adore the retro colors and could decorate an entire room around it!

No clue what I will do with this group, but I gotta have it!  That red.  That sagey green.  And the touch of black.  Perfection.

And for those of you who can't get enough Fig Tree:

Strawberry Fields.

And Butterscotch and Roses.

And who can resist the latest Howard Marcus group for Collection for a Cause?

And of course, there will be a 3 Sisters group or two to tempt us.

And be still my heart.  "Ruby" by Bonnie and Camille.

Start saving your pennies Friends, we have some shopping to do.  There is something for everyone in these Moda offerings, that is for sure.  And this isn't all of it, and there are loads of other fabric companies coming out with gorgeous collections as well.  What did I miss?  You gals who got to go to Market, fill us in!   Oh, how to narrow down the choices????

  1. How totally delicious! What is not to like?
Alas, my shelves overflow and therefore many, many quilts are in my future with scarcely any fabric purchases … sigh! Of course I adore what is on my shelves, so I’m not upset.
    Hugs!

  3. Beautiful collections and so hard to resist! I sometimes wish I was one of those people who like only one type of colour way or style but not me, I love it all and I’m not the best one at resisting it all either.
Thanks for the reminder of what’s coming Nicole 🙂

  7. Did you see Etchings? http://www.unitednotions.com/fcc_Etchings.pdf I am in luuuuuv. What will I do with more fabric? Seriously? I say this as a woman with two FQ bundles on the way. I couldn’t resist… a whole bundle of Grace for $75. I’m in the BOM at FQS that has Strawberry Fields but the more I look at it the more I want to take the fabric and do something else with it. 🙂

  11. Oh so many choices. How to choose. Perhaps if I win the lottery I could buy them all. In the meantime, Flurry is really calling my name. So that might be my first choice.

  15. All of those collections are wonderful. Too bad we all don’t have unlimited time and money to make all the things we wish we could! I still have some Christmas fabric from last year (I think it was Jingle all the Way?) that I need to start on for 2011 so that I’ll only be behind one year….LOL.

  17. I am a sucker for doing Christmas projects too. Red and green are my favorite colors together. Those collections are all pretty interesting, thanks for sharing.

  19. I can’t wait to get some Butterscotch and Roses! Quilt fabric has certainly turned into quite the art form, hasn’t it? I’ve noticed also this year from all the market posts that the fabrics are clearer and brighter.

  25. Ahhhh! LOVE IT. That Circa 1934 IS my living room. If my living room were represented in a fabric collection, that would be it. I already have quilts in my living room in these colors…but I’m thinking I’m gonna’ need one more. 🙂

  31. Nicole, I’m relatively new to your blog but am enjoying your quilts, fabric collections, etc. So very nice. What is the name of the Christmas presents pattern you have posted, and who designed it? This is one cute quilt.
