Nooooooooooo

003

The tile men came to re-do the master bath floors.  They put down new concrete to even things out and left for lunch.

Sophie got away from me and before I could catch her, she ran through all the wet concrete.  She ruined their beautiful smooth work.

Why do I have dogs?  Does anyone want them?

The tile boss was nice about it.  He says her prints will be there forever, all covered up with the new tile.  Great.

  1. Be sure to wash her paws. Cement is bad for dog’s feet. I feel your pain. Years ago I had a black lab mix. She wagged her tail in my fresh peach paint. I spent half an hour picking out the hair with tweezers. It would have showed if had I painted over.

  3. It reminds me of the tile in my old house that had tile imported from Mexico…it including ones with paw prints. I thought it was charming, added charactor. Or like the bag of Mesquite that I found a wooden sling shot in. Some little boy must have lost it while working.

  5. So, Nicole…I think you have dogs so that you can write about their escapades and give us all something to think/laugh/cry about. Yeah?

  7. Just remember, dogs have masters, cats have staff! LOL
Once the glue & tiles are put on you’ll never know that there are paw prints there! And, if the cement was still wet they could have gotten the prints out (just ask me how I know!!) LOL

  11. I love all the little antics those two furballs get into. Keep the stories coming. I wish we could have seen the face that went with the prints. I’ll bet Sophie was so proud.
