Several of you have inquired about the "tie off" needles I mentioned in my last post. Here is a photo of the special needles I got for doing the tie offs on my blended neutrals quilt. You don’t have to thread them in the normal manner. You just kind of hook your thread around the eye. For anyone over the age of 40, this is a very good thing!
Ozzie is a bit bored today, and refuses to get off my husband’s favorite chair. Life is tough isn’t it? Just wait. We have dog training class at 2:00 today. That will wake him up. Heh, heh, heh. (Evil laugh).

First let me say that your Blended Neutrals quilt is beautiful! I love beige on beige quilts. You’re right, the quilting is magnificent.
Now with that said, I cannot wait to hear the stories after Ozzie comes home from class. You can just see him dreaming of mischief he can get into. Love that dog!!!

Mr. O must be getting up his strength for class time. He’s a character! Thanks for sharing the needles. I like that idea. ~Adrienne~

I use those needles, also, and they sure save time for my over 50 eyes. Ozzie has great taste in quilts to rest his body on, too. Hope he has a good class today.

Those needles look interesting and poor Ozzie looks like he’s exhausted (though, after the orange shoe incident he’s lucky to be alive I think…). Your blended beige quilt is simply stunning! Wow. (and yes, I am catching up on my blog reading after a much too long absence!)

Oh I’m going out to find those needles. The 40+ year old eyes just aren’t what they used to be! Thanks for a great tip.

All I can say about those easy-threading needles is “I have got to get me some of those!” I even bought a small magnifying glass for my sewing basket because of the tiny eyes on my applique needles.
