Bubble Head Ozzie

Much to Ozzie's delight, my son was home from Cal Poly for the weekend.  Ozzie loves him passionately because he thinks up very funny games that the rest of us dullards in the family would never dream up.  It takes one comedian to know what another would find funny I guess.

You are all familiar with Ozzie's tricks and mischievious tactics to get our attention.  If things are quiet for too long, leave it to Ozzie to stir things up a bit.  Well, while we were all otherwise occupied, Ozzie somehow managed to steal an almost empty milk carton out of the kitchen.  As he tore outside with it in his mouth to play his favorite game of Keep Away, my son grabbed my camera and took a quick video clip of the chase. I had no idea my camera had this feature, but nevermind that for now.

Ozzie is shown as the total maniac he is in the clip below.  The funniest thing was that he couldn't see beyond the huge milk carton he had in his mouth and had to caper about sideways.  I don't know how to make the little Youtube screen show below, but if you click on the link, you can see Ozzie in full motion.

After the merry chase, he and my son settled down for a bit of a rest.  Ah, isn't it good to be part of a family who loves you?

  9. LOL – had to watch it twice ‘cos I was laughing the first time. It almost looks like you’ve blanked out his head like they do when they are protecting the identity of someone on TV. :o)

  15. I’ve started reading your blog from the beginning and wanted to tell you 2 things – first of all, your work is amazing. You have such a fantastic color sense…I’m so jealous. Second, thank you for telling us about the Featherweight seam guide – I just went to Buggy Barn and ordered one. I have 2 Featherweights and that has always been a problem. Mom left a ton of needle attachments, but no seam guide. This will be great. Thank you again. SuzK

  23. They are the funniest and most loving dogs at any age our Terriers, things as simple as empty milk jugs and for Sophie it is ice cubes…. I love Miss Rosie’s patterns and her grand sense of humor also, I have made several things from her pattern lines and taught “Elizabeth” at my Mom’s Quilt Shop, she was a delight at Quilt market this year.. Thank you for letting us know her website is up…. Enjoy your family and the love and laughter they provide
