Charmed, I’m Sure- Part Two

Img_0555_2

This is my second charm bracelet, began on a trip to Williamsburg, Virgina.  The first charms I purchased were Colonial themed, such as the antique style baby cradle, pineapple and garden basket.  Remember back in the 80’s when everyone wore charms on key fob type charm holders around their neck?  Well, I have to admit that I wore one of those dorky things, but the charms themselves were pretty nice.  When I got home from Williamsburg, my patient jeweler put some of my old favorites on my new bracelet:  a silver apple from Tiffany’s, an Elsa Peretti heart (how 80’s can you get?), and my original wedding ring (purchased before we could afford a gold one).  Over the past year I have acquired a few more charms, such as the adirondack chair, little pig, sewing machine, and needle and thread.

(Note: I am on vacation until April 5, and won’t be able to respond to your comments until then).

  1. It’s nice to see the charm bracelets. I have one tucked away somewhere, I haven’t looked at it in such a long time. This reminds me I will have to go take a look at it again.
