Yesterday was Baking Day with my granddaughter Eva. We only had an hour and a half after school, so we needed a quick recipe. This one for Chocolate Fudge Cookies really delivered!
Made using only four ingredients: a box of Devil's Food Cake mix, 2 eggs, 1/2 cup of canola oil, and 1 cup of chocolate chips. No need to chill the dough, and they just needed 10 minutes to bake. Eva and Grandpa Denny thought they had died and gone to heaven after taking a bite.
It turns out, making cookies using boxed cake mixes is a "thing". If you Google it, you will find all sorts of suggestions on various cookie recipes to try.
Hope you all are having a great week. I didn't sew yesterday, but have plans for later today!

The recipe I use is similar: 1/2 c butter, 1 teaspoon vanilla, 2 eggs, 1 cup chocolate chips, the cake mix, and 1/2 cup chopped nuts. Quick and easy to make. I love your red and white quilt and your blue sampler quilt. I haven’t done any quilting for months. I spent 2 weeks cleaning out my sewing room. I can’t believe all the fabric that was crammed into that small room.

Nicole, I finished the watermelon blocks years ago but came to a stop when I started the watermelon seeds. I noticed yours in your last blog post. How did you do the seeds?
Thank you
Mary
