Finished Doc!

003

Gosh, this was close.  I nearly didn't finish this Schnibble by the deadline!  I have so much going on right now, my head is swimming.  I got this done minutes ago, literally holding the baby on my lap.

My borders may be a little bit flabby, but I think I can live with it.  Can't wait to get it quilted and on my table.  Thanks Sherri and Sinta for hosting this wonderful sew along.

  1. how cute! the colors really work well together and the white space should be an excellent excuse for some nice quilting!

  5. Your quilt is adorable and it’s nice to give Baby E a little sewing lesson! Yep…last minute here, too! I just pulled Doc off my machine and headed out to take a pix on our haystack! I used Urban Cowgirl fabric and thought that would be a fitting background!

  7. You A.M.A.Z.E. me! With all that is on your plate – you got this done, too!!!!!! ???? (maybe if I didn’t spend so much time emailing the wrong peeps, I could accomplish something, too! tee hee!) I want to know what vitamins you take! (or is it the flax seed in your smoothies that is giving you all this energy to accomplish the impossible?)

  9. It turned out great. I’m thinking the fabric is Zippity Do Dah, am I right? That’s going to be so nice for 4th of July decorating.

  11. Well done!! I’ve always liked the Card Trick block and love you choice of fabrics! Won’t this be fun to use for Memorial Day and the 4th of July?
Now how on earth did you keep those sweet little busy hands away from the machine needle??
Unpacking for Grandpa or not, the Piecing Whiz is back!
Where do I go to see the Doc quilts of those who participated in the challenge?
    Hugs!

  13. Now I really MUST use my layer cake of this to make the quilt – it’s so cute, Nicole! I also just noticed that one of the fabrics from this line is what I used to back my Designer Mystery BOM that you’re currently making!
    Cheers!

  15. Loved your parade entry! Great fabrics and layout. It always amazes me how we quilters start out with the same pattern and finish with such different projects!
