If You’re Looking for Another Project….

Are you looking for a new project? Would you like to improve your foundation piecing skills? Would you like to do a smaller project rather than a full-sized quilt?

Fatquarter Shop is hosting a sew-along called Petit Four, featuring their foundation papers. You can read all about it here, and see what supplies and fabric are needed for the project.

I'm planning to sew along and have my foundation paper packs on hand, plus my beautiful Blueberry Delight fabric by Bunny Hill.

Bludberry Delight

There are three size options for the quilt, one with four-inch blocks, one with six-inch blocks, and one with twelve-inch blocks. I am making the smaller version which finishes at around 32" square. The small version requires two layer cakes and some background fabric. I went with a fat eighth bundle.

I always like to decorate with cool blues in January after all the red and green of the holidays and I think a table topper out of this fabric collection will be perfect.

  4. that is a beautiful design! you’re gonna regret making just a table topper…of course I have some layer cakes stuck in a box that I would love to pull out but I can.not.start.another.project. ;p
