Have you all discovered this super new gizmo? It is a bendable intense bright light that you attach to the top of your sewing machine! You stick the base on the machine, and then insert the light mechanism into it. You remove it when you pack up your machine, but it fits right back on when you get to your destination. It is a must for going to retreats or other places where you aren't sure of the quality of the lighting. You can also buy additional bases to stick on all your machines so you can use the light on any of them without having to purchase additional lights.
I got mine at Eddie's Quilting Bee in Sunnyvale.
Oh my goodness, are we having fun with Ozzie and Sophie. The house is a mess, the family room carpet is trashed, and I really mean that. But, life is short, and dogs add a certain something that is better than cake.

Is the light run on electricity (cord) or batteries? Sounds like it would be perfect. Usually I take my folding Ott light but then that takes up table space that is oftentimes at a premium.
I don’t know how you have so much patience for the dogs. It’s difficult for me with just one! They are adorable.

‘…dogs add a certain something that is better than cake.’ How true that is – cake is tasty, but is there anything better than the feel of a doggy standing ovation . . . the wag, wag, way of excitement simply because you entered the room.

Yes, life is too short…and just imagine the little doggie joy they are feeling having a playmate! Time to redo that floor in something indestructible like armstrong laminate that looks like wood and is amazingly easy to clean!! Pam

I can tell them apart now. Sophie has more tail and she has black on her ears. Right? They’re so cute. I want another dog, but Vann and Sophie nixed that idea. I want me one of those lights too.

Hi Nicole I must Say I have never seen a light like that here But I will be having a look around to see if I can find one. Your babies are gorgeous thats what puppies are like a new baby in the family I am glad you are having great joy from them.

I love my new bright light. I’ve used it several times on different projects and different machines and it really is terrific! The puppies are so cute!

I purchased that light two weeks ago, but I haven’t used it yet. I wanted some new “unnecessary but fun” quilting gizmo; I felt guilty spending $49.95 on it, but I told myself I deserved it! I must go set it up.
