Progress Made, But I Can’t Share It

Trying to post some pictures while I am away from home this week.  I am failing miserably!  I can take pictures just fine, but when I try to download them to  my husband's laptop, then upload them to Typepad it doesn't work.

I am on a little getaway and took my sewing machine along.  I had hoped to share my progress with my Sunflower blocks.  I have finished three of them, so I guess you have to look at Thelma and Lisa's progress and imagine mine!

I have to say that I am not regretting making this quilt top smaller!  With all those tiny little sunflower center pieces, there are a million ways for your quarter inch seam allowance to get off.  Don't ask me how I know this.

  1. Hope you can enjoy your lovely get-away, relax, delight in the scenery, and nosh on some delicious foods (no kitchen clean-up!!).
The sewing of those little parts and crossing those many seams can wait. Or, perhaps you could find a new and less bothersome little quiltie project to start?!
Fret not about the annoying photo posting hiccups. As Jan said, we can wait.
    Hugs!

  3. Well, I didn’t take the time to comment when you were asking about the copying issue, so here is my comment to you…I’ve now bought the Shiloh, Message in a Bottle and Hill Country basket because I saw your versions of those quilts. Thanks for letting me copy you! Have a great day 🙂

  5. Enjoy your getaway. And if you make some Sunflower progress, all the better. Just caught up on your last few posts. I like your idea of making this quilt smaller and using it for a table. I think the smaller size suits, and it will make yours a little different, which is nice. And then a little different again, with your personal choice of yellow. Can’t wait to see your progress!
