Quickie Post

APPLE SAUCE BLOCKS DONE
Just a quickie post today. I did finish the last of the Apple Sauce blocks. More background fabric is on order for the alternate squares and corner triangle pieces. I still have to make 80 some odd square in a square blocks for the border. That is fine. It is mindless paper piecing I can do while listening to a good audio book.

I've also been making more of the Moda Blockheads blocks to make a table topper for my son in Ireland. He has an orange couch in his family room/kitchen and loves the stronger orange colors. I plan to make a table topper for him from nine of the Moda Blockheads blocks. Fingers crossed I can finish it and quilt it myself by Christmas. 

I know the power of prayer is a real thing, and I am asking you, my friends, to say a prayer for my nephew, who is in a dire health predicament right now. He is much loved by many and is very ill at the moment. Our family would be so grateful for your kind wishes for his recovery. Life can change in an instant, and you never know what challenges could be around the corner. Never take your health and privileged circumstances for granted, and send grace and blessings to those who are suffering. Thank you.
