Raspberry Bear Paws

IMG_4802

Admittedly, I did not accomplish as much as I had hoped with this little project yesterday.  I had an appointment to get my hair cut in town and my husband tagged along with me, in the hope he could persuade my stylist to give him a trim at the same time.  She did, and with our new hair "dos" we proceeded to have a very nice lunch al fresco at a little bistro.  The weather has been wonderful–73 degrees in February!  It was so nice.  Then I introduced him to the little town library, where he actually got a library card and checked out two books!  It is kinda fun having him home with me during the week, but if this keeps up I am going to have to lock my sewing room door and not let him interrupt me until I come out.

So, the project is little bear paw blocks in raspberry pink and chocolate brown.  I'll share more about the pattern tomorrow, but wanted to show you what I had managed so far.

Hope you are all having a great week!

  1. How cute your little Bear Paw is! I haven’t seen this blok with the diagonal strip and am a tad surprised it has the same name. Love the fabrics, too!
I know it’s a mixed blessing to have hubby home and tagging along on errands. Decades ago and far away, DH came with me to get my hair cut and he went next door and bought a stereo! Costly trip!
    Hugs!
