Ridiculously Cute

At the risk of sounding like I am from California,  these blocks are seriously cute.  Totally adorable.  Dude.  I mean rullly.

I started making these blocks mid-day on Sunday, and am not sure I am able to stop.  Forget about dinner, forget about watching tv, or finishing that good book.  All I want to do is play with fabric combinations and making variations of basket blocks.

Why is it that whatever quilt I am working on is my all time absolute favorite?  Love the one you're with, that's me.

But really.  I am in love this time, for real.

Fabric:  Simple Abundance by Bonnie and Camille for Moda.

Pattern:  MoJo by she of the swelled head who cannot be named.

No, I have to give her credit–MoJo by Carrie Nelson of Miss Rosie's Quilt Co.

Sometimes you find the perfect marriage of fabric line and quilt pattern.  I have struck Pay Dirt friends.

  1. I just got what I am sure is the last fat quarter pack of Simple Abundance. I love that line but was also late in getting it. Your pattern choice is adorable. I may have to copy you. I made a small table topper previously out of small pieces I had purchased that I also love. It’s just such a warm and homey looking fabric line.

  7. Great minds! I used a small yellow pin dot as the background fabric for my Between Friends quilt I made with Simple Abundace. Those baskets are seriously very cute. Have fun.

  29. There are certain fabric lines that just need to never go away. This one is one of them. It is just gorgeous and when put in creative hands, we get gorgeous quilts. It’s looking great!
