This is just a quick post on a quilt I have been enjoying lately. It is called Short Line, and is a pattern by Miss Rosie's Quilt Co. It was made with fabrics from various American Jane (Sandy Klop) collections, designed for Moda.
It is a gorgeous quilt and although I have had it for nearly ten years I have never gotten tired of it. This one is a real winner. It was made from 1 1/2" strips of fabric-making it a great choice for honey buns.
You can also make it with larger strips (jelly rolls). This version was made from 2 1/2" strips of French General fabrics, and made quite a large quilt. If you can get your hands on the pattern, it is a great quilt to make in either version.

I don’t remember ever seeing this quilt before. How joyful it is in both colorways!
Hugs!

Love them both, but especially the French General one. That is one of my favorite fabric lines. My “French Snowballs” is made from French General.

Hi! It’s Carol Radcliffe, your happy jewelry tote maker. I have a question about this pattern? Are the strips 5” then cut in half? Or half of that? I have a ton of American Jane squares that I have been wanting to do something with, but never found the right pattern. Until now!
Also, when I moved here from CT I apparently lost a lot more than just boxes during Storm Irene. I went to pull out “Sentiments” by 3 sisters and noticed I didn’t have the border I purchased. The “HOLLY” fabric. So if you can please put a shout out that if anyone has holly #4082-13 I would greatly appreciate it! I had 1 3/4 the length of the fabric but it’s a 61/2” border around 55×64. It is old so I doubt it but you never know.
I start projects then put them away for another time. I might not do that anymore. I wish you well. You look good with your granddaughter. Stay cool!
Respectfully,
Carol
P.S. I had to have my left leg amputated due to osteomyelitis. But it just makes me see more!
