What’s On Your Bed?

IMG_1916

I switched out the quilts on the beds this week.  I love to do that seasonally, and with the big change in our weather (at last), it seems time to do that.  You see the guest room bed above. "Long Road Home", a Bonnie Blue pattern, fun and fast to make believe it or not.

This is the master bedroom.  On the bed is Birdseye, a Miss Rosie Co. pattern, and on the quilt rack is Jellystone, another Miss Rosie pattern.  Both of these quilts are among my favorite fall quilts, and I have a lot of them, so that is high praise.

This is my favorite place to sit and read, in my little library.  I have four (five if you include the one I am binding) quilts in that room, one on the sofa, one over the chair and two on the side tables.

As you can see, Ozzie has chosen to sit directly upon the white background quilt I am attempting to bind.  Darn dog.

Eva uses this room a lot, so I like to keep the table surfaces protected, as well as the sofa.

So, that is a little taste of some of the fall quilts i have pulled out to use in my decor.  How about you?  Have you gotten out your seasonal quilts yet?

  1. You have a lovely home and beautiful quilts. I don’t have that many seasonal quilts, but it is time to pull out the one I do have for fall!

  19. No I have not, but mostly because there has been no time to go to the washiteria and I wash the quilts as they go out of season. I like to use their machines as they go round and round rather than swish swish. I think is is easier on the materials.
